Twelve business leaders elected to BIA’s Board of Directors
CONCORD — The Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire elected officers and directors for 2026 – 2027 at the Annual Business Meeting at LaBelle Winery in Amherst, NH last month. The first meeting to include new board members was Thursday, June 18 at Granite Edvance in Concord NH.
BIA has over 450 members and its Board of Directors is one of the largest in New Hampshire, featuring executives of New Hampshire’s top employers.
“We have one of the largest and most engaged board of directors in the state,” said BIA President & CEO Michael Skelton. “The board is representative of manufacturing and the entire business community in New Hampshire. They further connections and offer insights into our priority policy areas of focus – workforce, housing, childcare, and energy.”
Elected as officers are Patrick Closson, Director, McLane Middleton as Chair; Christiana Thornton, President & CEO, Granite Edvance as Chair-elect; Bryan Granger, SVP, Compliance & Administration, C&S Wholesale Grocers as Past-chair; Steve Lawlor, Principal and CPA, Nathan Wechsler as Treasurer; Scott Ellison, Partner, Sheehan Phinney as Secretary; and Michael Skelton, Business & Industry Association president and CEO.
Five board members were elected to the Executive Committee. These include John Morison of Hitchiner Manufacturing, Lindsay Nadeau of Orr & Reno, Devin Oot of Novocure; Tom Sullivan Jr. of Sullivan Construction, and Stephen Ucci of Hypertherm.
The twelve newly elected to the Board of Directors include Eric Aguiar of Associated Grocers of New England, John Bauer of The Riverstone Group, Corinne Breton of Stay Work Play NH, Jonathan Greer of Wire Belt Company of America, Jody Holt of The Home for Little Wanderers, Dulcie Madden of Dig Energy, Kevin Madden of Hinckley Allen, Tom Malafronte of Manchester Boston Regional Airport, Alison Milioto of BlueLion, LLC, Rob Prunier of Harvey Construction, Sean O’Neil of Exeter Hospital, and Garret Trierweiler of Waste Management.
The June board meeting included a guest presentation by Lucy Lange, the commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Business & Economic Affairs (BEA). The BIA and BEA have a shared goal to create a prosperous economic future in the state. Commissioner Lange shared her initial observations after three months on the job as well as new initiatives, and future goals for the BEA.
