BIA announces new policy and advocacy team

CONCORD — The Business & Industry Association, New Hampshire’s statewide chamber of commerce and leading nonpartisan business advocate, announces changes to its public policy and advocacy team as part of its new long-term strategic plan.

Natch Greyes has joined as vice president of public policy and will be responsible for implementing and guiding BIA’s legislative and public policy agenda. Greyes previously served as government affairs counsel with the New Hampshire Municipal Association. He also previously worked as a prosecutor in northern Grafton County. Greyes received his law degree from William and Mary School of Law in Virginia and his undergraduate degree from Clark University in Massachusetts. He has lived in New Hampshire since 2013 and currently resides in Concord.

“We are thrilled to add someone with Natch’s experience to the BIA team,” said President & CEO Michael Skelton. “BIA’s goal is to make New Hampshire a leading state for business and Natch will play a critical role in advancing our mission.”

Rick Fabrizio was promoted to an enhanced role on the policy team. Fabrizio joined BIA in 2021 as director of communications and public affairs following a 24-year career in local journalism in New Hampshire. He will now serve as senior director of advocacy and public affairs.

“Rick has done a great job guiding our communication efforts and in his lobbying work for our members in the areas of telecommunication and data privacy,” Skelton said. “His knowledge and understanding of New Hampshire will help drive conversations around the state’s top challenges and opportunities.”

BIA is also planning to add additional staff to the policy team early this year. The changes are part of BIA’s long-term strategic plan that includes taking more proactive approaches to address the state’s most complex business issues such as the workforce and housing shortages.

BIA will soon release its Blueprint N.H. 2030, an objective, data-driven assessment of the competitiveness of New Hampshire’s business climate and long-range vision for the state’s economy. Blueprint N.H. 2030 will serve as a guide to bridge legislative sessions and election cycles to ensure BIA thinks about the state’s challenges by looking years into the future to inform decisions made today.

BIA represents over 400 member firms that contribute $5 billion annually to the state’s economy, and employ over 100,000 people throughout the state, representing one in seven jobs. Visit BIAofNH.com for more information.
