BIA announces recipients of 2024 Lifetime Achievement, NH Advantage awards
Awards to be bestowed at 111th Annual Dinner and Awards Celebration, presented by Eversource
CONCORD — The Business and Industry Association announced the 2024 recipients of its Lifetime Achievement and New Hampshire Advantage awards to be bestowed at its 111th Annual Dinner and Awards Celebration, presented by Eversource, Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Lifetime Achievement honorees are David Greer, CEO of Wire Belt Company of America, Teresa Rosenberger, senior advisor with the Bernstein Shur law firm, and New Hampshire Senate President Jeb Bradley. The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester will receive the New Hampshire Advantage Award.
The celebration is from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester. BIA’s premier event draws up to 700 business, political and opinion leaders from around the state and is considered New Hampshire’s largest business networking event.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes business leaders who demonstrate a commitment to leadership in their professions, communities and New Hampshire. Recipients help shape their communities and the state through successful business endeavors, participation in civic organizations, involvement in boards and service to local and state government.
Greer began his tenure as Wire Belt Company of America’s CEO in 1980. Now based in Bedford, WBCA has manufactured conveyors and conveyor belting for over 60 years, supplying industries as varied as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, electronics, environmental services and automotive. Under Greer’s leadership, WBCA was recognized as Business NH Magazine’s “#1 Small Company To Work For” three times and was named its 2015 “Manufacturing Business of the Year.”
Senate President Bradley of Wolfeboro, who is not seeking reelection, has served eight consecutive[GU1] terms in the Senate, including the last two as president. He previously served six terms in the New Hampshire House from 1991 to 2002. Bradley also served in the U.S. House from 2003 to 2006. He was named Legislator of the Year by the N.H. Association of Counties in 2022, 2018 and 2010. Bradley received the National Sexual Violence Resource Center’s 2021 Visionary Voice Award, the Nature Conservancy’s 2019 Conservation Leadership Award, and was named National Alliance of Mental Illness NH’s 2017 Legislator of the Year.
Rosenberger joined Bernstein Shur’s Manchester office in 2021 and is one of the most highly respected government affairs advisors in New Hampshire. She has extensive experience in business and nonprofit leadership, regulatory matters, economic development and developing strategies for business success and growth. Rosenberger works with clients in the energy, education, telecommunications, healthcare and regulated industry spaces, lobbying and providing strategic consulting, communications, grassroots and coalition-building services to help clients navigate issues at the Legislature and before executive agencies and regulatory bodies.
The New Hampshire Advantage Award celebrates businesses, organizations or projects that enhance the Granite State’s special character and quality of life in meaningful ways. The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester has provided service to the area community for over 60 years, offering long- and short-term solutions for mental health challenges. Led by President and CEO Patricia Carty, the private nonprofit community mental health center provides services for all ages.
